William Underhill, Sculptor and Craftsman

William Underhill (1933-2022) was a renowned Sculptor, Craftsman and Professor at Alfred University.

Underhill made vessels, geometric sculptures, huma inspired figured from bronze. His works can be found in private collections, museums, and community arts centers across the country.

Shortly after his passing, in February of 2022, an exhibit of his work was opened at the Alfred Ceramics Museum. Join the club as, adventure together to see an exhibit of his work, and find inspiration in a new way.

Location: Alfred Ceramics Museum

Admission Fee: $7.00

Planned Itinerary:

  • 9:00 am - Depart from the Club

  • 10:30 to 11:00 am - Arrive at the Museum

  • 1:00 pm - Depart for Lunch (Nearby Restaurant)
