Pottery Wheels

  • Our studio has 2 model c and 1 model cxc pottery wheels available for use. Capable wheels, with a long history, they are great option for any project. And if you have a large piece to make, our top of the line CXC model is fully capable.

  • We have 2 VL-Lite Shimpo wheels and 1 VL-Whisper available to club members. Known for his free spinning wheel head, and silent throwing motion, the whisper is an excellent choice for any project.

Slab Rollers

  • Our Hi Roller vertical slab roller, which is great for small slabs. It’s quick to use and versatile.

  • Our second slab roller, is a Bailey slab roller, great for larger slabs, and bigger clay projects, it’s a heavy duty workhorse.

  • In our ceramics studio we have 3 height adjustable tables for members to use when doing finishing work on a project.

  • We made space a priority in our studio. Our custom built glaze table opens to reveal test tiles, and an assortment of glazes. When not in use, it doubles as extra workspace for member projects.

Electric Kilns Onsite

Wheel & Slab is equipped with 3 electric kilns, which we use for bisque firings and glaze firings up to cone 6. Our pottery studio is also located near gas and wood kilns, allowing us to host special workshops.

To really get the most out of your clay experience, we believe you need space, equipment, and the proper tools. We’ve equipped the Wheel & Slab studio space with tools, forms, and essential tools needed for throwing and hand building with clay.
