New Member Etiquette
-
We ask that all social club members treat each other with kindness and respect.
We aim to create an environment where members can find enjoyment, peace, and relaxation, and that requires each and every member to treat each other kindly.
If there is a concern or incident it must be reported to management. Passive aggressive notes hung within the studio, or posted on social media will not be tolerated.
-
Members are asked to use tools and equipment properly and with care. Members cleanup their workspaces, wheels, tables, and tools at the end of each use. If a member is unsure how to use a piece of equipment they ask for assistance.
-
Members who join our club should be looking for a place to learn, have fun, and create amongst friends. While club members will have opportunities to casually sell their work, we cannot and will not support production pottery volumes.
Individuals who are solely interested in producing pottery for sale or production will be encouraged to consider area schools or equipment distributors who can assist them with starting their own pottery studio.

Production Pottery Policy
Why don’t we support or encourage production pottery work at the club?
Because, as a social club, we are focused on creating a space that prioritizes making friends, learning techniques, and sharing experiences with one another.
Our studio, and club concept was created to maximize these opportunities for members, and production work can limit our ability to do this successfully.
