Membership Fees
Membership fees are collected monthly, on a recurring basis, through Square. Members will be given a credit authorization form, upon signup.
All membership fees are subject to change. Club management will do its best to provide advance notice of any fee increases.
Membership fees help us keep the studio maintained, facilitated, and operational. Material costs, facility costs, and other factors are factored into the calculation of the membership rate. Some activities and special events may require an additional payment, which we will notify you in advance of participating.
In addition to our monthly membership fee, a small deposit, the new member deposit, is requested when a new member is accepted. Visit our pricing page for more details on our current membership fees and our new member deposit.
New Member Deposit
New members are asked to pay a $75 new member deposit fee, as part of our cancellation policy and membership pause option.
New member deposits are held by the club for the length of a members club membership. Please review our cancelation policy for more details.
Pausing Your Membership
If a member would like to pause their membership for a short period of time, for example a month long work trip, they can elect to use their new member deposit to hold a spot at the top of our waitlist. Please refer to our cancelation policy for more details on pausing or canceling a membership.
Nearly Unlimited Free Clay
Our nearly unlimited clay offering is subject to clay studio supplies, and limited in its use. Members who use up a bag of clay can request at no extra charge additional studio clay.
Nearly unlimited clay offer applies to the official studio clay body, Standard Clay 182, or 182 reclaimed in the studio. Any other clay bodies, slips, or decorative materials must be purchased from, or approved by the club, and reclaimed individually by the member.
Free studio clay and firings cannot, and will not be used for production pottery purposes. Please visit our club culture and etiquette page for more information.
Free Kiln Firings (Electric Only)
Free firings are electric firing only. Offer only applies to work completed in club by a member. Electric kiln firings will be scheduled to ensure efficient and optimal firings, members are asked to plan ahead when making a project to ensure their work can be fired by a desired date.
Dedicated Club Nights
All members will be assigned a dedicated, weekly club night, in which they will have access to the studio, equipment, and materials. Club nights are run by one or more of our facilitators, who can conduct demonstrations, moderate fun activities and help members work together to achieve their goals.
Studio facilitators reserve the right to review clay usage and firings of any and all members to ensure studio is operating optimally, and within the club rules for all members.
Open Studio Days
Open studio days are an opportunity for you to finish up projects, practice skills, or just hangout in the studio with other members of the club. Open studio days are scheduled to take place from 6:30 to 9:30 the first Friday of the month, and the second Saturday of the month from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Open studio days are subject to change based on schedules, weather, and unforeseen circumstances. If an open studio must be cancelled, club management will schedule a new date.
Rescheduled dates may not fit all schedules, if you can’t make a rescheduled open studio day, please see a facilitator to discuss alternative options for you.
Members who join the club will be asked to comply with club rules and etiquette.
Unwillingness, inability or lack of desire to do so will result in cancellation of membership. Please refer to our cancellation policy for more information.
