Club and Pottery Class
Members can take classes, and students can become club members. Each format offers unique ways to learn about ceramics and experience the studio.

Pottery Club

Club members can focus on what interests them on a given night. There is no syllabus, or set project type. A facilitator is on hand to help answer questions and help you get the most out of the space.

Clay is included in your membership fee. Don’t stress about how much you use, simply enjoy the experience!
Please note, total clay availability on a given night subject to available supply. Members are required to abide by our studio wide production pottery policy.

Our studio is stocked with custom made glazes, and commercial grade underglazes from the likes of Speedball and Amaco. Go wild with your glazing!

All pieces made at the club can be fired free of charge in our electric kiln. Other special firings may come with additional fees.

Come hangout at the studio on your weekly club night. This 3 hour time slot is your opportunity to make work, and hangout with other liked-minded club members.

Twice a month enjoy additional access to the studio, during our open studio sessions. Finish up work, make something new, or simply hangout with other club members.

Pottery Class

Students are guided by an experienced pottery instructor, who’ll help teach them new techniques and improve their skills each week. Classes are syllabus based, meaning the skills, and projects you’ll be making are known ahead of time.

Students receive access to helfpul handouts that include tips, tricks, and detailed write ups of the techniques and projects they’ll learn.

Classes are structured to include background knowledge, history, demos, and fun challenges for the class to complete. Each weekly class is typically 3 hours long, time may vary depending on the course.

Unless otherwise noted or mentioned ahead of time, classes include all materials, glazes, and firing charges in your registration fee. Enjoy the learning experience, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Twice a month enjoy additional access to the studio, during our open studio sessions. Finish up work, make something new, or simply hangout with other club members.

Celebrate your achievements with fellow class members with food! Students can elect to partake, bringing food, when possible in work they’ve created, to a potluck on the last night!

Don’t worry about carting tools or projects home, members enjoy dedicated shelving space. While students get access to special damp boxes that help control drying speeds, and allow class projects to be pushed to new limits.

Members and awaiting applicants get priority notice of upcoming clay classes and special ceramics workshops as part of our email newsletter list.
